How To Delete Texts in iMessage

Seems like every day there is a new update coming out for our Apple devices. With every update there are small changes, in both visual appearance and functionality that can make it difficult to use your devices the same way. Here are a few changes in iMessage that came with the last updates.

1. You may notice you don’t automatically see the times that texts have been sent. That might leave you wondering ‘when did I send that again? has it been that long? am I crazy?’ No, you’re not crazy. Simply drag screen from right to left to see your texting times reappear in the right margin of your screen.

2. How to delete texts in the latest iMessage. Why would you want to delete texts? We won’t ask, we don’t need to know, but in case you wanted to delete some texts for obviously very moral reasons here’s how. Tap and hold on any text in your conversation, a few options will pop up. Tap on ‘more…’ From this screen you will be able to select the texts you want to delete and select the garbage/trash icon in the bottom left corner of your screen. Another option is to ‘Delete all’ in the upper left corner of the screen.
